sidewall
Sidewall conveyors are designed to reduce material spillage, while increasing load carrying capacity. Shargh Sepahan offers conveyor sidewalls with different grades from general purpose to oil resistant sidewalls.
To increase the conveying volume of the conveyor, sidewalls are often welded to each side of the conveyor. These sidewalls are subjected to a lot of forces – in the transverse direction the sidewalls must support the weight of the transported material, while in the longitudinal direction they are stretched and compressed, especially in the area of deflection of the sidewalls. For this reason, the sidewalls of Shargh Sepahan have wear-resistant rubber and are very flexible. Depending on the type of application, transfer capacity and customer needs, Shargh Sepahan offers different heights (40 mm to 500 mm height) of fabric reinforced sidewalls. Shargh Sepahan recommends one fabric for each sidewall above 140 mm. If the side walls need to be screwed onto the baguettes, a fabric insert becomes necessary.
